Being a good classmate (Reading and Writing Activity)

It's important to be a good classmate, but how do we do that? Let's practice reading and writing in English while learning some important values for the classroom. 

Start out with a print out of the reading on LearnEnglishKids and then have students try the comprehension quiz below the text:

I recommend doing the quiz as a whole class and where the students have to lift up a miniboard or piece of paper with their answer to each question (A,B, or C) to make it more engaging.

In the same link there are two interactive multiple choice games to practice reading skills and to gain a better understanding of the text.  

To finish, make a word cloud with your students in the shape of a student's head with all the words they would relate to being a "good classmate."  The use of dictionaries is welcome for this task.  Here is an example: 

My example was done using https://www.wordclouds.comm/ but you can do it online or on paper. With students I think it's more fun to do it on physical paper and then hang them around the class.
